you’ll have to excuse me on this morning’s post. The intention was always set for a Sunday evening post, but I simply zoned out at 8pm last night with Ellie in arms. After a lazy family day I was even more tired by the end of it. However, it was a beautiful day – precious time with family. Some nice food, opening many presents and cards we have received for Ellie (many thanks), bought a Christmas tree, gave Ellie her first wash, and watched some Madam Secretary. Simple pleasures greatly appreciated.
So, it is the final week of official NWP walks for 2017. What a fantastic year!
I would really like to congratulate each and every one of you for your effort, determination, regularity, progress and achievements, and social interaction this year. It has been amazing to witness. Please all stand and give yourselves a clap, and a pat on the back. I am honoured to have been a small part of your individual journeys this year.
Please note that there is a walk this evening. There are walks this week. And there is an end of year pre-Christmas walk this Saturday (feel free to dress yourself up in a Christmas jumper, or Santa hat, or decorate your poles, and make time to join us for a cuppa afterwards), so I look forward to seeing you all at some point during the week.
Please accept my kindest and most heartfelt thoughts for Christmas, not for the sake of Christmas per se, but for the opportunity to have a rest from the daily grind and to spend some precious time with family, friends, or just enjoying your own company with good food, Christmas music and perhaps some snow.
I wish you only the best for 2018 and may it be your best year yet. Please use your quiet time to review your wins and fails this year and set your intentions for the year ahead.
If you need anything just give me a shout. If you have any comments, suggestions or feedback from this year, or for next year then please share with me.
Wishing you only the best health and happiness.
