I’ve just seen a Jay Shetty video flash up on Facebook. Man he has some good advertising. Anyway, Jay posts motivational and inspirational videos and this one was talking about waking up early with $86,400 dollars being deposited in your bank account every day, and what you don’t spend would get wiped at the end of the day, lost forever. He is referring to the minutes of the day we are gifted each and every day of our lives. Our choice to spend on worthwhile, health-promoting, energy boosting, happiness creating, community supporting activities, OR NOT, as the case may be.
When I first started changing my health, fitness, mindset and life around I used to watch all sorts of such videos. You know. Personal development stuff. Brendon Burchard. Tony Robbins. Robin Sharma. And a whole host more.
It is great content, and something you can come back to at any time your motivation, desire, or direction wanes.
Yet, there is only one thing that is necessary for success in any area of your life…and that is ACTION.
It was with great pleasure then this weekend that I was able to lead another Learn To Nordic Walk course with a great bunch of new recruits taking ACTION and understanding more about themselves and how the #magicpoles can make a real difference to various aspects of ones life..
The pleasure I get from doing this continues to grow and boosts my wellbeing in the process.
I am grateful for such opportunities.
I thank our new participants for joining us. I thank you also for being regular walkers and advocates for this fabulous activity and community. Without you where would we be ?
Our next Adventure Walk is this coming Sunday at Whalley
If you don’t feel you could manage the full 14km walk but would like to join myself, Sue, and a few others in Whalley for coffee (and then lunch with the walkers en route) please make sure you let Matt or Sue know in advance.
Should be a great day out.
If you are not booked on yet follow this link here and book yourself on.
Gentle reminder to book your place for Kielder Forest Adventure walk in September
We are almost at 20 participants for this walk already, however, we NEED a few more of you to commit to joining us to make hiring a minibus as cost-effective as possible.
September 23rd – Kielder Forest. Book your place here.
Would you like one of our purple Stronger Together T-shirts?
An order will be placed at the beginning of September, but we kindly ask you for your expression of interest NOW, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
We are also looking at producing a short-sleeve version and a long-sleeve version of the NWP T-shirts as there have been expressions of interest for both types from several members.
Whatever the reason please contact Di Duckworth to place your order and size.
Di shall collect the orders and then we shall place a bulk order with our supplier so that you have them before the Autumn eventing season commences (think Preston 10k, Autumn Breaker and the like).
